The data centre sector has been growing fast in Hong Kong in recent years. The demand for data centres in the coming years will continue to increase. HKSAR has also developed a thematic portal http://www.datacentre.gov.hk, From this thematic portal, we can see knowing more about data centre is beneficial to both as school IT and also the teaching of ICT.

In view of this, AiTLE with the help of Ricoh Hong Kong, has liaised with CITIC to get a chance to visit their Data Centre in Kwai Chung. Detail of the visit is as below :

  • Venue : CITIC Telecom Tower Data Centre, 93 Kwai Fuk Road,  Kwai Chung, N.T.
  • Capacity : 20

Remark : AiTLE has arranged a free shuttle to travel to the venue. The shuttle information is as below :

  • Gathering Time : 0900
  • Gathering Venue : 7-11 at Kowloon Tong MTR Exit F

If you drive, CITIC Telecom Tower(CTT) have a indoor carpark and the fee is first hour 14, second hour 28. Also, a outdoor Carpark is next to CTT and it cost HKD 8 per hour.
