With the provision of WiFi and Tablet by Government through WiFi 100 & the coming WiFi 900 projects, implementing eLearning in school seems unavoidable. This of course is because the great benefit of eLearning over traditional Learning & Teaching practices.
But simply infrastructure ready cannot make eLearning successful, the need of MDM, good Educational Software / App, and teachers training are also essential. All these domains are working directions of AiTLE in 2015.
Regarding the Educational Software / App, AiTLE & ETC has click off a project called “AiTLE-ETC Educational Software / App TestBed Programme” in 2014. The programme is to have the free provision of different UK Educational Softwares / App through ETC to “TestBed Schools” for use, and usage comment, improvevment suggestion are in return, from “TestBed School” to the Software Developer for software update and upgrade.
The “AiTLE-ETC Educational Software / App TestBed Programme” has been successfully launched in 2014 and we are happy to announce that AiTLE & ETC will launch PHASE II of the “AiTLE-ETC Educational Software / App TestBed Programme”, so as to involve more software developer and K12 schools from HK. The Phase I programme is highly appreciated by UKTI (UK Trade & Investment) and BESA (British Educational Suppliers Association) and surely the scale and quality will be much more great than the Phase I programme. We are also planning to have a visit to UK schools and attend the BETT* Show in 2016 and “TestBed Phase I & II Schools” with good performance over the Testing period will surely invited to join.
In order to let schools know more about the TestBed Phase I implementation and also know more about the TestBed Phase II detail, and also the 2016 UK visit planning, a briefing session has been arranged, detail as below :
