The seminar is jointly organised by the Hong Kong Computer Emergency Response Team Coordination Centre (HKCERT), the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO) and the Hong Kong Police Force (HKPF). Phenomenal advances of technology not only facilitate wider adoption of e-commerce among local small-medium enterprises (SMEs), but also transform the traditional ways of payment into new forms of mobile payment services. It is envisaged that businesses and individuals will rely heavily on electronic or online transactions in the foreseeable future. Meanwhile, criminals’ and hackers’ techniques are getting more sophisticated. Organisations must further strengthen their cyber and information security measures to better protect their information systems and online transactions. The public should also enhance their cyber security awareness and stay vigilant against cyber attacks at all times, in order to protect their online transactions and other sensitive data. In this seminar, information security experts will introduce related security best practices and share their experience on how to protect information systems and assets, so that everyone can continue to enjoy the advantages of electronic and online transactions as well as the convenience and fun brought about by technology. You are cordially invited to participate in the event. The details of the seminar are as follows:
