AiTLE Supporting Competition : AppJamming Summit 2019

Since 2014, AppJamming Summit (AJS) has provided a platform for 8-16 years old young coders to showcase their talents in creating mobile applications. Over the past 4 years, the competition committed to build a community of young coders and provide an opportunity for them to shine. Every year there is a theme for AppJamming Summit where participants need to create an app around the theme. The theme for this year is Culture #ConnectThroughCode. With previous 4 years of experience, AppJamming Summit 2019 would be organising in a bigger scale with 7 partnerships with local coding schools across Asia in order for more young coders to get involve in AppJamming Summit.

    • Any kids age 8-16 years old
    • Groups
      • Primary Group: 8-11
      • Secondary Group 12-16
    • Able to create a mobile app with MIT AppInventor
    • Group of 1-4 students (not limited to school)
    • Could have more than 1 team per school
  • Training /Support to Participating Team :
    • First Code Academy can host free Information Session in schools
    • Content:
      • Introduction of AppJamming Summit
      • Design Thinking Workshop
    • AppInventor Workshop (need to pay HKD $50 per participant)

    • Registration Open: From now to 6 Feb 2019 (Wednesday)
    • Submission Deadline: 14 Feb 2019 (Thursday)
    • Semi Finalist Announcement: 21 Feb 2019 (Thursday)
    • Pitch Day (Hong Kong): 2 Mar 2019 (Saturday)
