Modern workplace requires digital skills. Office Application handling skills (especially Word Processing, Spreadsheet & Presentation) are a MUST for nowadays people no matter at study or at work. In NSS ICT, knowing Office Application Handling Skills is also a MUST as is included in the C&A Guide.
In view of this, AiTLE & Microsoft Hong Kong are launching “The Microsoft Office Specialist Championship Hong Kong 2021” to arouse students’ interest and enhance their knowledge and skills for Microsoft Office Applications. AiTLE has been hosting this annual competition in the past 7 years and is glad to partner with Microsoft Hong Kong this year to further promote digital skills in secondary schools. Winners from the Hong Kong competition will also have chance to be nominated to the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) World Championship 2021 to gain international exposure.

MC, Fill in the Blanks, T/F and Matching Questions on web-based quiz platform

Selection Mechanism:
The top 2 students (with the highest scores and mark over threshold) of each category from each school will be nominated to join the Final Round competition
The final number of nominated students for the Final Round competition will depend on the capacity of venue

Question settings, format, duration and all others will be the same as MOS Certification Exams, with invigilator supervision

Students with the highest scores (and mark over threshold) of each category will be nominated to join the MOS World Championship 2021 (final numbers to be confirmed depending on the total number of eligible finalists in Hong Kong)

Students who joined the Final Round competition and passed the MOS exams will be awarded with the Microsoft recognized MOS Certifications
Students* with the highest scores of each category in the Final Round competition will be nominated by Microsoft Hong Kong to join the MOS World Championship* organized by Certiport (final numbers to be confirmed depending on the total number of eligible finalists in Hong Kong)
